DPK Media FAQ
A few practical answers before we shape the right mix of cameras, audio, online delivery, recording, graphics and handover.
Where is DPK Media based?
DPK is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and works throughout South Africa and abroad when the project requires it.
Does DPK Media only handle live streaming?
No. Live streaming is one part of the work. DPK Media also supports multi-camera production, recording, webinars, remote viewing, teleprompters, graphics and content handover.
Do I need a full brief before making contact?
No. A date, rough audience, venue or online format, and what you want the audience to receive is enough to start the conversation.
Can DPK work with our venue, agency or internal team?
Yes. DPK Media can fill one production gap, strengthen an existing team, or manage the full media workflow where that is needed.
Can one event be filmed, streamed and recorded?
Yes. The important part is planning those outputs together so cameras, audio, graphics, online delivery and recording do not fight each other on the day.
Can you support people watching in the room and online?
Yes. DPK Media can plan audience output for the room, remote viewers, recordings, screen feeds or a mix of those needs.
Can DPK help with presenters, scripts and graphics?
Yes. Teleprompters, lower thirds, holding slides, speaker notes, cues and audience-facing show information can be included in the media plan.
What do we receive after production?
That depends on the brief. Typical handover can include recordings, links, programme output, proxies or files prepared for an editor, comms team or archive.
